It has been a good while since I posted anything to the blog section of this website. Dawnlandvoices.org actually started its life as “indigenousnewengland.com,” where I reviewed new books emerging from the dawnland. That quickly got away from me as I started working on the new Dawnland Voices 2.0 magazine and our digital collections of historic tribal documents and newsletters. Also, Native authors in New England have proved to be a pretty prolific bunch, and I can’t always keep up!
However, if you would like to review any of the wonderful new books by Melissa Tantaquidgeon Zobel, Carol Bachofner, Larry Spotted Crow Mann, Paula Peters, or any other New England Native writers, please drop a line to dawnlandvoices@gmail.com. We would love to make space here for reviews of new (and not so new) books.
Meanwhile, we have also created a print edition of the first two issues of Dawnland Voices 2.0. You can get it on amazon for just over $5. Support your Native authors!!!
