Now accepting submissions for Issue #8 (expected publication in June), including a special section on WATER

We are seeking submissions for our Spring/Summer issue which will focus on the Indigenous experience of, relationship to, and concerns about water. Water is loosely defined her as everything wet, from a raindrop to a puddle to rivers and streams, the ocean, and precipitation. If you can imagine, you can write it.

We are looking for poetry, critical essays, and stories about water and its relationship to our past, present and future.

Examples may include water rights, climate change and its effect on pluvial environments. Or you may wish to comment in poetry on how you see your own relationship to water in any of its forms.

Send us your best work. If you have not proofed or revised your piece, take another  look before sending it.

Please send all submissions and queries to dawnlandvoices@gmail.com.  Send written work in Word attachments; visual art in jpeg; and music or spoken word in mp3 files.

Poetry: 3-5 poems

Prose: 5000 word limit
